7. Splatoon 2

Reminiscent of more classic games like Call of Duty is Splatoon 2, which takes on the formula of a shooter game but with no bloodshed. In the game, you can expect to fight off your opponents while trying to cover as much ground in the map – the winning team has to have a better paint-job done in their representative colour. The online multiplayer mode will keep you on your toes, but if you are keen on embarking on an adventure, do give the single-player campaign a go. One of the setbacks for long-term Pokémon fans is the loss of the National Pokédex. Do not be fooled by the cartoony graphics – this game is actually rather fast-paced and involves a lot of strategizing. An improvement from the first instalment, Overcooked! 2 has been deliberately made more challenging and includes new and improved recipes that are sure to cause chaos. You will be glad to know that the characters now have the ability to toss ingredients across the kitchen, which fundamentally changes the gameplay. Be sure to try this one out for yourself!
